Homemade Green Smoothie

Don’t let those leftover greens go to waste. Why not dust off your blender and whizz up a quick homemade green smoothie!

 

Ingredients

  • 3cm piece of cucumber, washed and roughly chopped
  • ½ stick celery, washed and roughly chopped
  • 1 large carrot, grated
  • 25g red pepper (about one fifth of a pepper)
  • 1 handful baby kale (about 15g)
  • A few sprigs fresh parsley, including stalks
  • 75ml water
  • 150ml tomato juice

 

Method

  1. Place all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and puree until smooth.
